What's the difference between the newsletter editions?

Signal Weekly (free) sends one company every Friday. Signal Daily ($5.99/mo) sends one Fortune-1000 company every weekday at 9AM ET with the full verdict. The Pro edition — included with Pro ($199/mo) — is the same daily company shown in depth: all six dimensions with the weights chart, the full 'why this score' audit trail, raw-signal coverage, a score-history sparkline, and more flags and evidence per dimension.

What data sources do you use?

GitHub, job postings, SEC filings (public companies), Crunchbase, news and press releases, company websites, leadership profiles, and Glassdoor — up to eight public sources per scan. Every report shows exactly which sources responded. We never scrape private data or use surveys.

Question 4

What's the Narrative Gap?

Accepted Answer

The delta between a company's Public Narrative score and Product Embedding score. A large positive gap means the company talks about AI more than it ships AI. A gap above 20 points forces the 'Marketing-Led' verdict — regardless of the overall score.

Which should I pick — a $49 report or Pro?

If you need to check one company, buy the report. If you evaluate companies regularly, Pro's 10 monthly reports work out to $19.90 each — less than five one-off reports — and add the watchlist, weekly drift alerts, the Monday digest, and the in-depth Pro edition of the daily newsletter.

Can I cancel Pro or Daily? What do I keep?

Cancel anytime from your account — no call, no form. For Pro you keep full access until the end of your paid billing period; after that, reports you purchased individually stay unlocked forever and unused credits remain on your account. The free weekly keeps arriving regardless.

Can I get a refund?

Reports are generated instantly and can't be un-generated. If you believe a report is materially wrong, contact us and we'll re-run it at no charge.

Do you store any private data?

Accepted Answer

No. We only store company names, public data, scores, and — for subscribers — your email and subscription status. No PII, no internal documents, no confidential information.

How accurate is the scoring?

Accepted Answer

Dimension scores are drafted by an LLM, then a deterministic post-processor recomputes the overall score and verdict and applies a named-rule catalog — every rule that fired is cited in the report. Each dimension carries a confidence level; low-confidence scores should be treated as directional. See our methodology for details.
